10. Vehicle insurance is merely an estimate each year and is budgeted with a slight increase to allow for normal prices hikes.  We have received the annual invoice and a few departments are short funding. This transfer will cover the variance.

Motion: To approve an extension of the current Williamson County Burn Ban for thirty (30) days, from Tuesday, December 18, 2012 to Friday, January 18, 2013, and authorize the County Judge to terminate the Burn Ban prior to the expiration of said thirty (30) days, if the County Judge determines that the circumstances present in the unincorporated areas of Williamson County no longer create a public safety hazard that would be exacerbated by outdoor burning.

75. Comments from Commissioners.
  Judge Gattis expressed congratulations to the Cedar Park and Georgetown football teams who are playing in the State Championship this weekend.
Commissioner Covey extends congratulations and plans to go to Cowboy Stadium to support the Georgetown football team at the game this weekend.
Commissioner Birkman thanked everyone who participated in Brown Santa by volunteering and/or donating.
Commissioner Long announced that Emergency Services District (ESD) #11, has successfully been organized and has negotiated a five-year fire contract with Cedar Park.
Commissioner Long and her Executive Assistant Kathy Pierce stated that January 10, 2013, is the tentative date to meet with State Legislators.
Judge Gattis said there is a good possibility that a special meeting will be called on Thursday, December 27, 2012, for the purpose of approving some real estate contracts before the end of the year.
