Discuss and take appropriate action on a First Amended Williamson County and Hutto Education Foundation Solid Waste Fee Funding Policy.

Background

Agreements between the Hutto Education Foundation (HEF), Williamson County, and the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation (GRRCF) have been attached to show the Endowment fund investment, usage, and distribution guidelines.

The purpose of the Williamson County and Hutto Education Foundation Solid Waste Fee Funding Policy is to provide guidelines and regulations to the Hutto Education Foundation (HEF) relating to the Solid Waste Fee Account established by Williamson County through collections of fees at the Williamson County Landfill. The Hutto Education Foundation is a conduit for the distribution of funds allocated by the Commissioners Court to the Hutto ISD.

The Greater Round Rock Community Foundation, Inc. (GRRCF) has been established with a principal purpose to receive and administer funds for various charitable, scientific, or educational purposes and organizations in the greater Round Rock, Texas area. On the books of GRRCF, a fund shall be established known as The Hutto Education Foundation Endowment Fund (the "HEF-E Fund").
