Consider approving Change Order No. 9 in the amount of $16,138.00 for Second Street Roadway Improvements, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Four.
Background
This Change Order adds new Contract Items and revises other existing Items to meet the City of Taylor’s request for additional drainage items and upsizing existing Contract items to eliminate flooding concerns for the Reese property located between Victoria Street and Howard Street on the north side of 2nd Street. The additional drainage facility (concrete lined ditch) up to the alley behind the Reese property and the cost of upsizing the drainage facilities will be reimbursed by the City of Taylor.
