Consider approving Change Order No. 8 in the amount of $30,000.00 for O'Connor Drive Extension, a Road Bond Project in Precinct One.
Background
This Change Order adds a new Contract item for soil retention blankets to be installed in various locations on the project to minimize the erosion of topsoil along the roadway, as needed to address final field conditions. The Contractor is responsible for the costs of replacing topsoil, fertilizing, and reseeding to establish permanent vegetation on the project.
