Consider and approve authorizing the County Judge to sign the CR 387 Rail Road crossing arm plan cover sheet. TxDOT job number 8300-00-014.
Background
TxDOT has construction plans to place crossing arms at the CR 387 rail crossing south of Bartlett. TxDOT requires the county judge’s signature on the cover sheet acknowledging the work will be done on the county roadway system. There is no construction cost to the county for this safety improvement. The county will be responsible for the pavement markings on the roadway as we are for all county roadways. The maintenance of the signal arms is performed by the railroad at no cost to the County.
