Consider approving Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $827.55 for San Gabriel Parkway Phase II, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Two.
Background
This Change Order compensates the Contractor for changes made to the striping layout due to unsafe passing zones in the original plans. The Contractor installed the passing zones according to the TMUTCD regulations for sight distance and curves using the minimum length required for passing zones. The passing zones were not completely eliminated due to the presence of slow moving vehicles in this area of the County.
