Consider approving Change Order No. 26 in the amount of $83,476.00 for Williams Drive, a Road Bond Project in Precinct Three.

Background

This Change Order compensates the Contractor for the cost of installing additional metal beam guardrail and related items that have been added to the project to protect traffic from a steep side slope located in the clear zone near Old Oak Drive. This Change Order also compensates the Contract for removing one light pole foundation at the intersection of Williams Drive and Jim Hogg and adjusting the slope of the ground around three other light pole foundations to improve safety for the traveling public.
