Consider accepting a $150.00 donation from Ferrellgas for sponsorship of a ribbon cutting event regarding the new propane tanks at the J. B. & Hallie Jester Williamson County Annex.

Background

We will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the installation of the new propane tanks that have been installed at the J.B. & Hallie Jester Williamson County Annex. This donation from Ferrellgas in the amount of $150.00 will be used to sponsor the event. The ceremony will take place in late December 2011 or early January 2012. The tanks are located behind the EMS and Sheriff's substation. Texas Railroad Commissioner David Porter will be a special guest at the event.

Williamson County pursued and received grants to fund the conversion of selected county vehicles and the construction of countywide propane fueling sites based on several benefits provided by the incorporation of propane. Williamson County currently has 24 propane fueled vehicles in operation and will have a total of 31 when all the conversions are completed.
