To discuss and consider approving a line item transfer for JP 2 to move funds to the Office Furniture < $5000 line item.

Background

In order to take full advantage of the additional office space acquired when the Parks Department moved into their new facility, it was necessary to purchase office furniture for one of the offices. Office furniture in excellent condition, including an L-shaped Desk, a bookshelf, a two drawer latteral file cabinet, and a two drawer rolling filing cabinet, was found on Craigs List for $150.00. To be able to take advantage of this low price it was necessary to purchase it immediately. There was an additional cost of $100.00 for having someone pick up the furniture in Kyle, Texas and deliver it to the office. This has created a need for a line item transfer into Office Furniture < $5000 to reimburse Judge Staudt for the purchase of this furniture.
