Discuss and take appropriate action on SWCA Environmental Consultants Work Authorization Number 7 covering work activities for the Williamson County Conservation Foundation (WCCF).
Background
This work authorization covers activities relating to scientific research and preparation of comments regarding notice from the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) on potential listing of three salamander species endemic to Williamson County.
The FWS is considering listing three salamander species in Williamson County as endangered - the Georgetown, Jollyville Plateau and Salado salamanders. The listing of these species could have substantial impact to development and growth for the county. The work product of this authorization will assist Williamson County and the WCCF in responding to the proposed listing action.
