Consider appointing Thomas E. Nanninga to serve on the ESD No. 2 Board to fill the unexpired term of Gwen King, until Dec. 31, 2010 and then to serve a two year term beginning on Jan. 1, 2011 and ending on Dec. 31, 2013.

Background

Commissioner Birkman and Commissioner Covey interviewed Mr. Thomas Nanninga and are recommending his appointment. He has also met with the current board and attended a board meeting. He would be filling an unexpired term of Gwen King who has resigned from the board. Her term was to end on Dec. 31, 2010. We are also recommending he be appointed to fill an additional 2 year term to begin on Jan. 1, 2011 and expire on
Dec. 31, 2013.
