Commissioners Court - Regular Session

In accordance with Section 352.051 of the Texas Local Government Code, discuss and consider adopting an order prohibiting or restricting the sale or use of "restricted fireworks" in all of the unincorporated areas of Williamson County.  "Restricted Fireworks", which means only those items classified under 49 C.F.R. Sec. 173.100(r)(2) (10-1-86 edition), as "skyrockets with sticks" and "missiles with fins."

We must make this decision by 12-15-10.  The KBDI must be at 575 to be in compliance with 352.051.  I will have a report to present to the Court on 12-14-10 as to where we are with our KBDI and the recommendation from the Fire Chief's Association.
