Discuss and consider approving Free-Roaming Spay/Neuter Grant Agreement between PetSmart Charities and Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.

Background

Discussion:
A grant application was made and received for $10,000 through PetSmart Charities to spay/neuter free roaming cats and kittens. WCRAS does this on a limited basis currently and this grant will allow us to spay or neuter approximately 285 additional cats and kittens for people living in our jurisdictions. Free-roaming cats and kittens are feral or stray cats and kittens that a citizen or a Trap-Neuter-Return group has trapped, has them altered and returns them to the area they were found. By providing this service, the number of cats and kittens entering our shelter will decrease.

I have already sent it to Hal Hawes and Jim Gilger and both have indicated it was acceptable.
