Discuss and take appropriate action regarding personnel issues as related to reorganization of HR Department.

Background

Pursuant to the appointment of the Human Resources Director as well as the Court's desire to assign managers to supervise each section of the proposed departmental structure, the Court is asked to consider the reorganization of the staff positions within this department.

While the proposed reorganization maintains the 10.2 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) positions, strategic initiatives are already being implemented which increase services, efficiency and responsiveness to the external and internal customers of the department.  Even with these service enhancements, the salaries line items for 402 and 886 are reduced by an annual total of approximately $9,800 with fringes.

A departmental organizational chart and a spreadsheet outlining the proposed positions and corresponding salaries is attached for review.
