Discuss and take appropriate action on Statement of Work between Cross Professional Services and Williamson County to consolidate phone systems county-wide.

Background

As approved in the budget, we are consolidating the phone systems in Taylor, Round Rock, Cedar Park and Georgetown to operate as a single, unified phone system (albeit with "survivable" capabilities in each location in case of loss of connectivity), including 5-digit dialing County-wide. Cross Professional Services is the vendor we have used several times in the past for our telephone upgrades and enhancements. Cross is on the State Department of Information Resources (DIR) contract.

The County Attorney's Office (Hal Hawes) and the Auditor's Office (Jim Gilger) have both reviewed and approved the agreement.
