The US Fish and Wildlife Service issued an Endandered Species - Incidental Take Permit to Williamson County effective October 21, 2008 allowing limited impacts to four listed species provided certain conservation and management conditions are satisfied as outlined under the county's Regional Habitat Conservation Plan (RHCP). It is the county's intent to delineate and delegate certain duties and responsibilities of the RHCP and to use WCCF as the entity for management and administration of the RHCP.
This Interlocal Cooperative Agreement structures and defines specific responsibilities of the WCCF and the county to accomplish the goals of the RHCP. The ILA has been reviewed by counsel for the WCCF and by counsel for the county. |
