Consider increasing jury balances, in response to Senate Bill 560, as follows:
District Clerk jury fund will increase by $7,000 from $13,000 to $20,000. Cash on hand will increase by $3,000 from $5,000 to $8,000.
County Clerk jury fund will increase by $2,400 from $3,600 to $6,000.
Background
SB 560 Jury Service Reimbursement has required a jury payment increase for the second and subsequent day(s) of service from $6 to $40.
