Pursuant to a settlement agreement that resulted from a suit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union against ICE, ICE agreed to provide the individuals detained at the T. Don Hutto Facility with various items. Such items generally consist of adding or altering the menus and types of foods served at the facility, revising policies relating to the detainees' movement within the facility, revises policy to allow for free access to the recreational areas, revisions relating to visitation policies, revisions to mail call policies and procedures, etc. The proposed modifications are no cost modifications. |
