Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge expenditures from the general fund non-departmental department for jail repairs (Settlement Funds from Settlement Agreement in American Arbitration Association Case No. 70 110 Y 00385; Williamson County, Texas v. FaulknerUSA, Inc, Landmark Organization, LP, et al.).
Background
The settlement funds were deposited in fiscal year 2015 thus requiring a budget amendment to make them available for jail repairs.
