Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the approval and acceptance of FY15 Homeland Security Grant funds in the amount of $47,920.32. The project is for the purchase of a Personal Protective and Support Equipment for the Williamson County EMS SWAT Medic Team.

Background

The Williamson County EMS SWAT Medic Team serves as medical support for multiple law enforcement agencies. Team members have primarily used equipment handed down from agencies. The funding will allow for the purchase of new personal protective and supportive equipment needed by this team. This will help ensure the safety of teams members and the delivery of life saving care to the public and responders.
