Discuss and consider amending the action taken June 30, 1998 in regards to refunds for overpayments.
Background
The action taken on June 30, 1998 was to approve a policy that any refund for overpayment excluding property taxes would have to be in writing or oral if for less than $5.00
Would like the Commissioner Court to consider amending this to $10.00 or less and that it still exclude property taxes.
Internal Audit has reached out to all Elected Officials and Department Heads that this policy would apply to and have received feedback in support of this recommended change.
