Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on an amendment to the FY14/15 Budget Order.
Background
Last month an amendment to the Budget Order was recommended and approved to provide direction with regard to restrictions on transfers within salary line items. The intent was to prohibit line item transfers into and out of salary lines that are budgeted by position. Since line item 1107 (temp and seasonal) is a lump sum and not budgeted by position, it was not intended to be included in this policy change. This minor addition, if approved, will allow for transfers into and out of the temporary and seasonal line item as was the original intent.
