Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving Proposals for Fire Tests and Inspections from Convergint Technologies in relation to annual required fire alarm tests and inspections of sixteen different county facilities (DIR Contract #DIR-SDD-2216) and authorize the County Judge to execute each of the proposals.

Background

The proposal is for testing and inspecting the fire alarms in 16 different county locations over the next five years. The DIR discounted rate is 21.5% discount off Convergint's standard rates. The proposals will be controlled by the terms and conditions of DIR Contract #DIR-SDD-2216, which allow the county to terminate without cause upon 30 days notice.
