Consider and take appropriate action on resolution for continued participation in the region's ozone reduction action plan.
Background
The existing 8-Hour Ozone Flex Plan is expiring and the resolution is to continue to participate with the region in an ozone reduction plan, now to be styled the "Ozone Advance Program." The measures to be implement are all things the county is doing and continues to do (e.g., offer on-line county access to business activities, use of alternative fuel vehicles, late day refueling of fleet vehicles, etc.) and to consider additional measures.
The resolution wording is attached. Also attached is a list of current and suggested reduction measures.
