Discuss and consider exempting Priority Dispatch from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements established by Section 262.023 of the Texas Local Government Code, as the sole source provider of the ProQA and AQUA Software for 911 Communications.
Background
This is for the purchase of additional licenses to add to the existing ProQA Software system. Priority Dispatch
is the sole developer and provider of this fully two-way CAD integrated Priority Dispatch Software System.
This exemption is authorized under Section 262.024(a)(7) of the Texas Local Government Code.
