Discuss and consider approving consulting services agreement with Dr. Mac McGuire D/B/A McGuire & Associates, Consulting of Georgetown, Texas, and the exemption of those services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services as set forth under Section 262.024(a)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code.
Background
Dr. McGuire provides training in the areas of leadership, process mapping, strategic planning, customer service, improving business practices, and management of resources. Dr. McGuire will be the individual providing the training to Williamson County therefore qualifying these services as personal services.
