Discuss and consider approving increase of change funds for Taylor Tax office to $500.00. Change funds for Cedar Park and Round Rock Tax office locations to $900.00.

Background

The annexes would greatly benefit from an increase to their change fund. Since the vehicle registration fees changed, it has been s struggle to have enough fives, tens, and quarters for customer change. Even though we order change daily and we don't deposit tens and fives, trips to the bank for change are still necessary. The current change fund in Taylor is $400.00 and we would to increase it to $500.00. The current change funds in Cedar Park and Round Rock are $700.00 and we would like to increase them to $900.00 Increasing the funds will assure there is enough money for change and prevent staff from making trips to the bank.
