Agenda Item

Consider and take appropriate action on a 2010 Sub-Recipient Agreement between Texas Department of Public Safety and the County in relation to the Homeland Security Grant Program.

Background
Jarred Thomas will provide background info at the court's session.  Also, see enclosed cover letter.  Two of the grants are funded through the CAPCOG Homeland Security Taskforce in which we have received granted funding for a number of years and the other is through the Austin-Round Rock UASI (Urban Area Security Initiative) and this is our first time to receive funding through it. All of the grants are non-matching but require the county to fund the projects and then file for reimbursement. This is the same has it has always been. Jarred Thomas plans to have everyone (myself, Mike Gleason, Marty Herrin, and Pat Cobb) that is receiving funds to be available to answer any specific questions regarding the funds they requested and the projects they are for, if needed.
