Discuss and take appropriate action to canvass the November 2, 2010 Williamson County General Election and Local Option Election to Legalize the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages in the City of Georgetown, Texas.
Background
In accordance with Chapter 67 of the Texas Election Code, request is made to canvass the precinct election returns for the General Election and the Local Option Election conducted in Williamson County, Texas, on November 2, 2010. The Commissioners Court must canvass the election between November 10, 2010 and November 15, 2010. The Early Voting Ballot Board is scheduled to convene on November 9, 2010 to review provisional ballots and any ballots received by the Elections Department that were timely mailed from outside the United States in accordance with the FPCA (Federal Post Card Application) procedures.
