Consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the transfer of various vehicles from the Williamson County Fire Chiefs' Association to the Williamson County Hazmat department.

Background

These vehicles were part of the Hazmat division when the department was part of the Williamson County Fire Chiefs' Association. When the County created a Hazmat department, the responsibility of, and need for, these vehicles should have transferred with the department. The Fire Chiefs' Association has voted to transfer ownership of these vehicles to the County at no cost. The trailers should incur little maintenance costs, and the Hazmat Chief has indicated that if the ambulance needs major maintenance it will be taken out of service and auctioned off.
