Discuss and take appropriate action on interlocal agreement with Bluebonnet Trails MHMR for mental health crisis services.

Background

The Commissioners Court approved the plan for State funding for crisis mental health services with agenda item #37 on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007. At the time of approving the concept of the plan, the Court was informed that an interlocal agreement would be following. The State allocations for crisis money begins on December 1st, 2007. The interlocal will allow the County to expand the MOT and to meet the State standards for a Crisis Mobile Outreach Team (CMOT). All expansion and related expenses will be covered by the State funding. The attached interlocal has been reviewed by Dale Rye, Charlie Crossfield and Jim Gilger.
