Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $29,428.53 for County Road 245, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Pct. 3.
Background
This Change Order adds a new Contract item to compensate the Contractor for installing a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) on the proposed 6 inch waterline as required by the City of Georgetown. This Change Order also includes the reduction in total length of 6 inch waterline to be relocated. The existing 6 inch waterline was in a different location than what was shown on the plans. Moving the waterline tie-in to this new location shortened the overall length of the new waterline to be installed.
