Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding Scott & White Clinic Business Associate Agreement for Williamson County EMS.

Background

Williamson County EMS contracts with Scott & White Clinic for the professional services of Dr. Jeff Jarvis to provide medical direction for EMS. This Business Associate Agreement (BAA) will ensure that access to and use of disclosure of any and all information relating to patients complies fully with the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. This BAA has been reviewed and approved, as to form, by the Williamson County Attorney's Office.
