Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approval of the Williamson County voting representative to the Texas Indigent Health Care Association.

Background

Victoria Lippman, Director of Community and Social Services for Williamson County and Cites Health District, now oversees the management of the county's indigent health care program, WilCo Care. We request that she be approved as the county's designated voting representative to the Texas Indigent Health Care Association, TIHCA.

We also request that the Commissioners Court approve maintaining continued membership in THCA, paying annual dues. Participation in TIHCA has proven beneficial to the county and to the staff managing the program on the county's behalf.
