Discuss and take action on accepting the Swalm Foundation Grant awarded to the Animal Shelter.
Background
Williamson County Animal Shelter applied for and has been awarded a Swalm Foundation Grant. This grant will be used for dog spay/neuter and pet microchipping. It was awared in the amount of $29,961 and the Animal Shelter intends to use these funds in lieu of their shelter budget for these services until funds are exhausted. This is a one year grant and funds must be exhausted by September 2015. Attached is a copy of the award letter.
