Discuss and consider appointing Thomas Belton and Valerie Zimmerman to serve as Assistant and part-time Assistant Veteran Service Officers, respectively, for Williamson County Veteran Services, as required by Texas Government Code Sec. 434.033.

Background

Due to a change in staffing, Thomas Belton has taken the position previously occupied by Susan Lee as Assistant Veteran Service Officer. Valerie Zimmerman has taken the position as part-time Assistant Veteran Service Officer and works primarily at Heros Night Out in Cedar Park. In order to obtain certification, both have to have the required appointment by the Court.
