Consider an order and declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment to acknowledge additional expense for EMS.
Background
An ambulance remount vehicle status change was submitted on July 23, 2013 for retirement.  It was not available for delivery until 09/30/2013 and the company did not have any drivers available to make delivery that date nor did we have anyone available to pick it up.  The remount company is located in Baton Rouge, Louisianna and arrived in Georgetown on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.  The monies fell in cash ending for FY 2013.  We are requesting a budget amendment for FY 2014 to pull those monies ($38,378.00) back from cash ending to pay the bill in the year in which it was complete.
