Discuss and take action in directing Human Resource and the Auditor’s Office-Payroll to make the Adjusted Service dates as follows for two EMS employees:  Beth Jones 2/12/98; Judy Splain 12/17/98 and make an exception to county policy as it pertains to a break in service of 1 year or more.
Background
See the attached letter from Kenny Schnell.  The employees were earning at a higher rate and during an audit based on the records in payroll it was determined that there service date should be 5/19/06.  EMS is requesting the Adjusted Service Dates to take into account the time employed with Georgetown Hospital.  The change to reduce accrual was done as of 7/6/12.  Requesting to change the Adjusted Service Date back to 1998 and adjust accruals to reflect what would have been accrued from 7/6/12 to the present.  Effective date to make these changes would be 10/11/13 (the beginning of a pay period).
