Discuss and take appropriate action regarding the supplemental to the utility agreement with PEC for the relocation of the existing facilities along the Ronald Reagan North Phase 4 Project.

Background

PEC had existing facilities located in private easements, which were in conflict with the proposed construction. The existing facilities were relocated in two phases to allow construction to begin before all relocations were complete. Phase 1 relocations (west of CR 239) were included in the original utility agreement; however, ROW acquisition and relocation design were still underway for the Phase 2 relocations (east of CR 239) when the original agreement was executed. The supplemental to the agreement adds the Phase 2 relocations, with an estimated cost of $263,095.04, bringing the total cost of the relocation to $411,208.17, with 100% being reimbursed by the County.
