Discuss and take appropriate action on license agreement between Williamson County and the Neighborhood Association of Southwestern Williamson County.

Background

Several years ago, the County removed a subdivision identification sign when Anderson Mill Road was widened. The previous Commissioner promised to allow the Association to replace the sign at a location approved by the County.

Now that the funding is in place, the Neighborhood Association of Southwestern Williamson County has requested the County allow it to place a neighborhood identification sign at the intersection of Broadmeade and Anderson Mill Road. The proposed sign will be located parallel to and within three feet of an existing wall, as depicted on Exhibit A to the license agreement in the packet. Joe England has confirmed that the sign location is safe. As stated in the license agreement, the sign will be maintained by the Association and can be removed at any time if requested by the County. The Association will indemnify the County for any damage to person or property.
