Discuss and take appropriate action on the acceptance of FY12 Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $19,500.
Background
Williamson County was successful in having two projects funded through the CAPCOG Homeland Security Task Force for the FY12 Homeland Security Grant Program. The first project is for HazMat Monitor Maintenance in the amount of $12,500 which will fund the annual monitor maintenance contract. The remaining $7000 is allocated for the purchase of Radiological Detection Equipment to be utilized by the Williamson County Hazardous Materials Response Team.
