Discuss and take appropriate action regarding employment of the law firm of Sedgwick LLP to represent Williamson County with respect to various environmental matters including, but not limited to, the Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act and other federal regulatory programs and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under section 262.024(a)(4) of the Texas Local Government Code.
