Discuss and take appropriate action on Contract Amendment 4 to the Inter-Governmental Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Williamson County (AKA Local Initiative Projects contract).

Background

Amendment 4 supercedes amendment 3 which was approved by Commissioners Court on 8/03/10. This new amendment confirms the Local Initiative Project grant program for the FY 2011. Under this amendment TCEQ has decreased the grant obligation to Williamson County by $50,742.75 for FY 2011 and to a total of $7688 for FY 12. However, combined with FY 2010 fund carryover this means a total of $194,116.62 for the 2011-2012 budget years ($69,519.19 carryover plus $116,909.43 for FY 11 plus $7688.00 for FY 12). The AirCheck Program office will administer the grant with assistance from the Auditor's office.
