Discuss and consider approving Amendment No. 5 to TechShare Resource Sharing Addendum, Common Integrated Justice System, Court Administration System between Williamson County and the Texas Conference of Urban Counties (CUC).

Background

In 2006, Williamson County entered into an agreement with the Conference of Urban Counties (CUC) to implement the Odyssey Court Administration System. By participating through the CUC we were able to partner with over a dozen other Counties and leverage our combined size to reduce the cost of software licensing as well as share the cost of custom modifications. We have continued to partner with these counties (throuogh CUC/TechShare), primarily to share the costs of enterprise custom modifications, but also to take advantage of lower negotiated license fees for additional modules.

All of the costs listed on the Financial Plan (Attachment A) are included in the 2012 fiscal year general budget for Technology Services.
