Discuss and take appropriate action regarding 7/27/2010 action taken by the Commissioner's Court to approve employment of Steve Mierl and Firm of Cornell, Smith & Mierl, LLP to represent Williamson County regarding General Employment Law Advice and Counsel as matters may arise and exemption of those attorney services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act.

Background

"On 7/27/2010, the court approved the expenditure of up to $10,000 for services rendered by this firm. The purpose of this agenda item is to allow for review and consideration of the amount previously defined in that action."
