Now that we are in the configuration process of the PSTP, I would like to propose that we bring the Project Management in-house. At the recommendation of the Sheriff's Department we would like to assign the Project Management duties to Richard Semple. With his IT and GIS background, he is an excellent fit for this project. He has also earned the respect of the entire PSTP group as a leader in this field. Jefferson and Associates requested contract extension was $200,000 for the next phase. I am recommending that we give Richard a $1,000 per month stipend for the temporary additional responsibilities of PM for the PSTP. This stipend will be funded out of 100-583. It will end when we have successfully implemented all of our departments and cities on our system. |
