Discuss and take appropriate action on line item transfer for County Clerk Records Management.
Background
Microsoft went increased their sales price since the quote in April to the quote this week on the SQL license we are getting in order to migrate from Oracle to SQL. An SQL server is more consistent than Oracle and more affordable than Oracle for licensing and support. We will be replicating the database for security and disaster recovery reasons which is a fraction of the cost of doing in Oracle. IT is able to work more easily on an SQL database than an Oracle one.
