WILLIAMSON COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S COURT

The Commissioner’s Court of Williamson County, Texas will meet in special session in the Commissioner's Courtroom, 710 Main Street, in Georgetown, Texas to consider the following items:
 
  REGULAR AGENDA
 
1.   Discuss and take appropriate action regarding interviewing candidates for Legal Advisor to Commissioners Court.
 
2.   Consideration and possible action on hiring an attorney to advise and represent the Commissioners Court. (Legal Advisor to Commissioner's Court)
 
3.   Consider and possible action on hiring of an Office Specialist to assist in the day to day functions of the attorney to advise and represent the Commissioners Court. (Legal Advisor to Commissioner's Court).
 
4.   Consider and possible action on redefining the duties of the county attorney relating to providing legal advice to the commissioners court and other county departments.
 
5.   Consideration and possible action on amending the budget, including but not necessarily limited to the budget of the county attorney’s department, budget of the County Judge and non-departmental budget to reflect a possible revision of the responsibility for providing legal advice.
 
  EXECUTIVE SESSION
"The Commissioners Court for Williamson County reserves the right to adjourn into executive session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.071 (Consultations with Attorney), 551.072 (Deliberations regarding Real Property), 551.073 (Deliberations regarding Gifts and Donations), 551.074 (Personnel Matters), 551.076 (Deliberations regarding Security Devices) and 551.087 (Deliberations regarding Economic Development Negotiations)."
 
6.   Interview candidates for Legal Advisor to Commissioners Court.
 
7.   Discuss and take appropriate action regarding hiring of Legal Advisor to Commissioners Court.
