Consider closing Manx Drive from 8205 to 8209 on Sunday, Nov. 2nd from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for a block party.

Background

Brian Eberwine contacted our office because they are planning to have a block party on Manx Drive on Sunday May 18, 2008, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The purpose for the party is to meet/greet neighbors in an effort to get to know each other better and create communication in an effort to reduce crime on their street. They would like to block off the street in front of two residences (8205 and 8209 Manx) for 6 hours.

They are not requesting any cones or barricades.

Lt. Gleason has approved the closure.
