Consider closing Park Valley between Fern Bluff Ave. and Box Canyon from 5:00 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 with a rain date set for Oct. 19, for a block party and consider loaning cones from URS.

Background

Sandra Sullivan is planning a Block Party for their street, Box Canyon Terrace and a small portion of 2 adjoining streets, Fern Bluff Ave. and Park Valley. The location where they would like to have the party, is on a portion of Park Valley between Fern Bluff Ave. and Box Canyon. There are 3 driveways that enter onto this portion of Park Valley but they would only be interfering with 1 driveway and the owner of that home has given them permission to block it for the evening, her address is 17865 Park Valley Drive, Round Rock, 78681.

They would like to block Park Valley from the Property line of 17865 Park Valley to the intersection of Box Canyon, but they will not be blocking the intersection itself. The party is from 5 - 10 pm on Saturday, October 18th with a rain date set for October 19th.

They will only need cones. The only traffic on this section of Park Valley and Box Canyon are from people who live there.

Lt. Gleason has reviewed and approved this road closure.
